ROYAL SPA consists of spa hotels and resorts in the Czech Republic and Austria

At present, the ROYAL SPA group consists of spa hotels and resorts in four major Czech spa towns - Luhačovice, Mariánské Lázně, Velké Losiny and Ostrožská Nová Ves and now also in Bad Hofgastein, Austria. This hotel will be in operation from 2026.

Most hotels offer a four-star standard and provide guests with comprehensive services under one roof - comfortable accommodation, excellent cuisine, first-class spa care from highly qualified experts and a wide range of therapeutic treatments using both natural healing resources and innovative modern technologies.

ROYAL SPA hotels and resorts offer both medical spa and rehabilitation stays as well as relaxation and wellness stays to relax and regenerate body and mind.

ROYAL SPA over the years

1991

Zálesí Luhačovice

MVDr. Antonín Plachý took the first step on the way to building a Czech family chain of spa hotels and resorts ROYAL SPA. Lease of the Zálesí Hotel.

1995

MIRAMARE Sanatorium

Conversion of the MIRAMARE guesthouse into a spa sanatorium and the official establishment of the ROYAL SPA spa group focused on providing first-class spa care.

1996

3 new hotels

The ROYAL SPA spa chain has grown by three more hotels - the ROYAL Spa Hotel Mariánské Lázně and two spa buildings in Luhačovice - Villa Pernštýn and Nasta.

1999

Expansion of MIRAMARE Luhačovice hotels

Gradual expansion of MIRAMARE Luhačovice hotels by MIRAMARE II hotel and Villa HELENA.

2001

Purchase of the spa house RITA Luhačovice

Another spa house RITA has been added to the spa hotels MIRAMARE Luhačovice.

2002

Opening of SULPHUROUS SPA

A new member of the ROYAL SPA chain of spa hotels and resorts.

2006

VILA ANTOANETA Luhačovice

Opening of the new spa hotel VILA ANTOANETA in Luhačovice.

2006

Wellness hotel DIANA

Inclusion of the first wellness hotel DIANA Velké Losiny into the hotel chain ROYAL SPA.

2007

Expansion of the hotel ROYAL Mariánské Lázně

Expansion of the hotel ROYAL in Mariánské Lázně by another building.

2008

Takeover of the Thermal Spa Velké Losiny

A new member of the ROYAL SPA chain of spa hotels and resorts.

2009

VILA VALAŠKA Luhačovice

Opening of the hotel VILA VALAŠKA, which belongs among the cultural monuments in the spa Luhačovice by arch. Dušan Jurkovič.

2010

Opening of the Spa Hotel ELIŠKA Velké Losiny

Opening ceremony of the newly reconstructed main hotel ELIŠKA in TERMÁLNÍ LÁZNY Velké Losiny.

2012

Reconstruction of the sanatorium ŠÁRKA Velké Losiny

Completion of the reconstruction of the spa sanatorium ŠÁRKA in TERMAL SPA Velké Losiny.

2013

Construction of the unique thermal park THERME LOSINY

Start of construction of a unique thermal park, which was inaugurated in 2015

2015

Expansion of the resort in Velké Losiny

Opening of the newly reconstructed hotel ELIŠKA II in Velké Losiny.

2020

Revitalisation of the park in the Sulphurous Spa

Revitalization of the spa park in SULPHUROUS SPA Ostrožská Nová Ves.

New member of ROYAL SPA hotel NVAMARE Luhačovice

The NIVAMARE Spa and Wellness Hotel has become part of the ROYAL SPA chain of spa hotels and resorts.

Revitalization of the park in THERMAL SPA

Revitalization of the spa park in the Thermal Spa Velké Losiny.

2025

Opening of the thermal swimming pool at the ELIŠKA Hotel

Reconstruction and opening of the indoor thermal pool in the ELIŠKA spa hotel in Velké Losiny.

PARIS Marianske Lazne

New member of the chain of spa hotels and resorts ROYAL SPA hotel PARIS in Mariánské Lázně.

ROYAL SPA supports the non-profit organization KORUNKA POMÁHÁ and its charity projects

It is about helping sick and handicapped children in the Zlín and Olomouc regions. ROYAL SPA is a long-standing main partner and we help KORUNKA every year both financially and with in-kind donations or the possibility to organize events in our facilities. Some of our employees are also involved in the projects.

Since the beginning of KORUNKA's operations, the spa hotels and resorts of ROYAL SPA have contributed a total of more than CZK 2,000,000 in financial and non-financial assistance. Thanks to your stays, TOGETHER WE HELP.
